Welcome to the former home of the Granola Board BBS. Although the BBS was closed in 1997, the system's spirit lives on in the hearts and memories of its former subscribers. Although Granola was "just a BBS," it impacted the lives of many local residents in a positive way. Many of our subscribers who were in their early teens during the system's heyday have gone on to successful careers as programmers, network administrators and PC repair technicians. The former system operators are proud to have contributed to the local community in a positive way.

Although the BBS is no longer in operation, our site still receives approximately 2,500 hits per month due to our unique domain name. We are currently looking into ways of expanding the usefulness of granola.com, and are planning some changes in the near future.
