This is the tree that fell over right next to my RV. When it came down, it was pouring rain, and we were seeing gusts in excess of 80 MPH.

This shot was taken the next day, after the Park Rangers moved the tree away from my RV. I felt pretty lucky that the tree missed me!

It's a little hard to see, but here's where the tree landed. If the wind had shifted direction just a little, the whole mess would have landed on me!

Quite a number of trees came down during the storm. The tree across from mine actually landed on an RV, though fortunately nobody was hurt.
