Cool Stuff

Every once in a while, we run across really cool stuff that's worth mentioning on our site. Although this might sound like a shameless advertisement, I'd really like to mention a wonderful DVD rental service we've encountered.

In May of 2000, we signed up with Netflix, an online DVD rental service. This service allows you to rent an unlimited number of DVD movies for a flat monthly fee.

The way the service works, you create a list of movies you want, and they'll mail a few to you at a time. Once you've watched and returned a movie, they'll automatically send you the next one on your list. The great thing about the service is that there's no due dates or late fees, so you can keep the movies as long as you like. (We once kept a few movies for nearly two months when we were in the middle of moving and forgot to send them back) If you hate standing in line at your local video rental place, or forgetting to return your movies and getting fined for your trouble, this service is definitely for you.

We've really found the company to be great to deal with, and we hope you'll take our recommendation and give Netflix a try .
