A sad update: on August 31, 1998, Snapdragon's Brig finally met her demise.

On August 31, 1998, at approximately 11:45 PM, a tree limb broke off of the tree above and managed to smash poor Snapdragon into oblivion.  Fortunately, everyone in the RV at the time (myself, my dog and my cat) all managed to escape harm.  Unfortunately, the trailer wasn't so lucky, and it turned out that it suffered nearly $12,000 worth of damage.  The "good" news in all of this is that my insurance has paid off, and I've been able to purchase a replacement.  Even so, I can't help but feel a lot of regret, knowing that my loyal Snapdragon's Brig is going to a salvage yard...

This shot is of the rear of the trailer after the tree was removed.   The tree ended up smashing all the skylights, destroying the air conditioner, mashing the TV antenna, caving in the rear wall, and poking several holes all the way through the roof.  Needless to say, it wasn't a pleasant experience being woken up by a tree coming down.
